Short answers. Where the honest answer is that something is undecided, that is the answer.
- When is the First Edition released?
- There is no date. We are not holding one back — it genuinely has not been set, and we would rather say that than post a date we would then move.
- What will it cost?
- Undecided. The price will appear on the product page when it is decided, and not before.
- Can I pre-order?
- No. Joining the list costs nothing, commits you to nothing and takes no payment details. It is a list, not a pre-order.
- How often will you email me?
- Once, when the First Edition has a release date. There is no newsletter and no drip sequence. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.
- Why are there drawings instead of photographs?
- Because no garment has been made or photographed yet, and a render presented as a product photo would be a claim we cannot support. The drawings are production flats — the thing a factory is actually given. When photography exists it will sit alongside them.
- How do I know what size I am?
- The size and fit guide has the full chart in inches and centimetres, plus what to check when you try one on. If a garment does not match those measurements, return postage is ours both ways.
- Will the rash guards be competition legal?
- That is the design constraint we started from rather than one we will work around. Specific ruleset compliance will be stated on the product page once the garments are made, not promised in advance.
- Is the Technique Library a substitute for classes?
- No, and it says so on every entry. Written material cannot correct your positioning or stop a submission in time. It is meant to make training with a coach more useful.
- Who writes the Journal?
- Rick R and Steven P. Every article carries a byline, a publication date and the sources it was built from, because a piece nobody will put their name to is not worth reading.
- Do you take sponsored posts or affiliate commission?
- No. There are no affiliate links, no paid placements and no commission arrangements. If that ever changes, the affiliate disclosure page changes before the first such link appears.
- Will you make spats, shorts or accessories?
- Spats and shorts once the rash guard fit is proven on real bodies. Tape is the accessory most easily specified honestly, so it comes first. Mouthguards and mats are being considered, not promised.
- I found a mistake in an article.
- Tell us and point at the claim. Factual errors get corrected in the piece with a dated note — we do not quietly edit a page and pretend it never said what it said.
